But his plans for revenge are derailed when the gambler hints that he knows the whereabouts of the crime kingpin he's been tracking for years. This movie was fun, plain and simple fun! This isn't a dramatic psycho-thriller nor a serious action movie! It's a Jackie Chan movie it has silly action and (pleasantly) stupid comedy. Then add Johnny Knoxville, and the humor and stupidity just multiply exponentially...I couldn't stop laughing out loud! On top of all that, the story-line/plot was also very well done.

Chan has been slipping a lot lately, dull movies with little action. This is almost different. Plenty of decent action, though with a slightly preachy edge that takes away from the total enjoyment just a little bit. Knoxville works well wit Chan, and this has fun spots in it. Just a little too moralistic at times.

jackie chan has had buddies from the past: sammo hung, yuen biao, chris tucker and owen wilson to name a few. this partnership falls a tad short, maybe because of how the plot was structured. nevertheless in this relationship a decent sidekick, at best, is in order?

Jackie Chan and Johnny Knoxville always deliver , and they do again . Chinese strict detective chases wild spirit American holding proof to indict drug lord and avenge a partners & friendS death. Great visuals in multiple countries , cities.

This is not one of his better movies, but it was a nice reversal from the Rush Hour and Shanghai series for Jackie to be on his home turf with a side kick that's the fish out of water. Plus, seeing Jackie sing Adele made my night.

Its has its moments. If this movie was made 15 years ago when Jackie Chan and Johnny Knoxville were in their primes, THEN this would have been epic with some insane stunts. Instead, we get this below average action film.

Jackie Chan and Johnny Knoxville team up for a buddy action/comedy. This would have been amazing if it was released 15 years ago, but it still delivers the goods and it has a nostalgic feel to it. Recommended.
