Q: Are the multi-channel zones powered or do they requires a separate powered amplifier?

A: All channels are amplified (Including the extra zones) with 200W per channel, so yes, it does work w/other zones w/o an additional amplifier.

Q: Is it imax enhanced ready?

A: No, it's not. The New Pioneer Elite receiver sc-lx904 has imax passthrough.

Q: Does anyone know if the main board problem has been solved? I have a SC-65 which I love, but I recently started getting the dreaded "UE22" flashing code. No fix, replace board $500+. Would love to get this, but don't want to throw it away after 6yrs.

A: The UE22 problem must be fixed with an update downloaded on a computer and saved to a thumb drive. Take the thumb drive and insert it in your SC-65 unit. Then request an update from the USB drive. I did my SC-68 that way and the update was successful. The UE22 error went away. Additional info: My SC-68 main board just died and I found out that you can no longer get replacement parts for it. Likely, your SC-65 has the same issued. Keep your fingers crossed that it keeps working. So, now I have a very expensive paper weight which has just been trashed. Good luck with your update. - NMHUCOWBOY.

Q: is it HDR compatible?

A: It is compatible.

Q: Does it have a voltage setting option. I live in a place where the electric supply voltage is 220 to 250 volts alternate current at 50hertz so if I buy in the US can I use it there because in USA supply is at 110 volts.

A: Speakers use power from the Receiver - not the wall. The Receiver will be what you need to ensure works with your native electrical standard. A receiver draws power from the wall socket and will be the device that amps the sound to the speakers.
