Q: Does it also have a charger attached?
A: The phone soap does come with its own charger.
Q: Do I have to turn my phone off before using phone soap?
A: I was charging my phone in the soap phone and it deleted all the pictures. I would advise you to turn it off.
Q: Does your phone fit in here with a case on it?
A: My Pixel 4a in a case fits well in the Phone Soap 3. It gives me confidence that my phone is sanitized.

Q: It kills "germs and bacteria". What about viruses?
A: Yes. I work in a research lab where we actually use UV light to disinfect things all the time. The UV light will kill most any living thing that is on your phone.
Q: Does this charge my phone while it cleans it, or does it just clean it?
A: It can do both at the same time but you have to connect your own cable to the usb slot in the back. It comes with the standard USB and also a USB - C for the newer models. It comes with a little gap for the wire to go through so the lid closes properly.
Q: Will this affect the life of my phone?
A: No, it uses UV lights similar to what the sun does.
A: Automatic when you close the lid. Kind of a waste since it restarts after you get your clean phone out, and then close the lid with nothing inside.
