A: This could be caused by a myriad of things. Could be that the PC was not set up properly the first time. Suggest going to the ASUS app and redo initial setup. Bought mine about a month or so ago and it is working just fine. Other than that, might ask the Geek Squad for help.

A: I added an NVMe M2.2280 SSD to an open slot on the motherboard and cloned the HDD to that using Macrium Reflect (Free edition). Asus says that slot will take up to a 2TB NVMe. There are 11 screws on the bottom of the case to remove the bottom panel, and you have to provide a screw for the NVMe if you go that route. You could swap the 2.5 HDD for an SSD if desired, as well. The performance difference between the NVMe and the original 5400 RPM Toshiba HDD is huge. I used a Mushkin 512GB NVMe which is a mid-range choice in terms of rated transfer speeds, but any SSD will make a major improvement in speed on this system.
A: I haven't found a skin the fits perfectly. I did find one on amazon that covers the keyboard the nimber pad is where it gets tricky. I cut the number section off.
