A: Hi, Thank you for your question. These speakers are designed to withstand temperatures from -13° to 149°F. You can cover them if you would like; however, it's unnecessary. You can use them during the winter months when the outside temperature is above freezing (40°F or higher.) Finally, I would recommend bringing the speakers inside before the temperature reaches or drops below -13°. If they do reach freezing temperatures, allow the speakers time to defrost thoroughly before using them. Damage can occur if the speaker is frozen and you attempt to play them. Awesome Outdoor Audio System
Love it. Very easy to install. The speakers are (mostly) thoroughly thought thru: + You bring the cable in from the back, feed it thru a hole in the speaker and connect to the speaker at the front. +/- The connector are push buttons; little tricky because the cut out is a little small. I would prefer classic screw downs, but you do it just once, so not a big deal. +/- At one of my speakers the front cover was very hard to assemble, had to bend it to fit. A flexing snap-fit would be easier, but the risk of broken pins is not uncommon, especially cheap plastics getting brittle over time outdoors. Get a high quality outdoor cable. And get more than you need. You do not want to be short by 1 ft. + The setup for the Sonos is simple as for all Sonos systems. Had no issues at all. Two downs: - you should not use the speaker when temperatures are below freezing. Sucks if you live in a winter area. +/- It lacks bass. But I did not expect that from this setup. Just for heads up: The Sonos Amp has a dedicated outlet for a subwoofer! Furthermore to get a solid bass outside in a large, open backyard, you need a big woofer. But the quality of the music is still awesome. I use it as a background music system only, so it fully does the job. My guests like it a lot.

Great quality - value deal
I was going to buy 4 speakers but I only bought two and that’s all I needed for my backyard. The quality of the sound is excellent- very crisp and loud enough to enjoy the music 60 ft away

This is a must buy.
This system is great. The sound is fantastic!! If you are handy this is easy to set up. Hardest part is mounting the speakers and feeding the wire inside. I opted for Geek Squad installation because it was a surprise for my husband. I have no doubt he and I could have easily done it ourselves. App works great to control system and the ability for multiple people to control iss very convenient.
