Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood - Nintendo DS

this game reminded me a bit of super mario RPG but not nearly as good. i was getting so tired of seeing sonic games, a franchise that needed to quit a long time ago but still found money to keep making poor games. this sonic game still is not great but it is a better improvement over past games. they made it into an rpg type game, so if you like rpg games along the lines of super mario brothers rpg you will like this game. you get items and you get to level up of course, the game however is controlled with the stylus for movement and it isnt a fast pased speed through rings type sonic game. it is a good twist on a dying franchise to help stabalize sonic for a few more horrible sequels. the game is fun to play, easy to learn, and is RPG based which makes it easy to pick up and play, and easy to master. there is however alot of dialogue in the game so if you are buying it for a child who can not read, they will need assistance playing (but hey, dont let that deter you, i learned to read playing final fantasy 1 and used words in school my teacher didnt think i could possibly know, and i could spell most of them, even words like scientific, battle axe, traditional ect.) rpg games are a great way to learn spelling and reading if you have a child that can grasp on to concepts at an early age, atleast in my opinion. anyhow, this is a descent sonic game that may keep you playing till the end with its new rpg elements and lack of redundant levels that resemble a pinball machine make it worth playing.

When I first saw this I thought this was going to be the worst sonic game yet. I thought I would try the game to see if I was wrong. I opened this game as an early Christmas present. I enjoyed the game very much. Pros: You have a wide range of characters to play as including a new character. Storyline is a good one for a Sonic game, the story is mostly about Knuckles. Cons: Graphics aren't the best for a DS. But what can I say, DS doesn't even have good graphics either. If your like RPG's, your should play this game. If you wan't high speed action from the other Sonic games, you should find a different game.

If you love the original Sonic and want to go fast, this is not the Sonic for you. You have to use the stylus to make Sonic walk...I just want to use the arrows! But nonetheless, you get used to it.

This game changed my perspective of sonic games usually they are one person at a time but this was different in a good way especially because of the ds it was exciting, so I enjoyed playing the game

This game is entertaining and fun ! My Grandson has gotten hours and hours of play and liked it immediately...

I brought this game for my daughter and she has not put it down.
