Best for light cleaning, not for serious messes!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this steam cleaner after reading tons of reviews on the top steam mops currently on the market and this was the customer favorite. I've now used it over 20 times to mop my textured vinyl floors, and it does a very good job on the spaces that are not heavily soiled/just need a decent wipe down. However, I purchased this under the impression that It would be the best one stop shop for cleaning up my older dog who has been having issues with indoor accidents, and the urine is particularly hard to get completely off the floors without the use of strong chemicals. Unfortunately this is mop is not as convenient for this purpose as I had hoped, because you really have to have the mess 90% cleaned up before you attack it with the cloth mop end or you will end up with a stained and extra smelly mop cover that doesn't get clean in the wash. BUT.. if you use the spot cleaner without the mop head and just run the steam over the mess and then wipe it up, it usually gets everything in just 2 or 3 passes! So overall I would say its a good steam mop for regular floor cleaning, but don't expect it to save you much time or energy if you have pets!
