The Sonos by Sonance have a detection circuit that makes a custom dsp for each version of the speaker so you can get the most out of the speakers when plugged into our amp. They in-wall and in-ceiling speakers can also be trueplay tuned which is our proprietary tuning technology that tunes the speakers to the environment of your room using an IOS device.
Q: Are these wireless or do they have to be wired?
A: These are passive speakers that must be wired into a amplifier to play music. They are specifically designed to take advantage of the Sonos Amp but will work with other amplifiers as well.
A: Hello! These outdoor speakers are designed to work best with our amplifier called Sonos AMP. If you power them with our AMP, these outdoor speakers can be grouped, controlled with the Sonos app, ext together.
A: These are passive outdoor speakers that require an amplifier to play any content. They are designed to work with the Sonos Amp which can detect that these speakers are connected (in the settings press Detect Architectural Speakers) and have unique sound settings to make them sound incredible outdoors.
