A: I have it paired with my smart tv. And it goes into an idle/standby mode everytime I turn off the tv.

A: Hi and thank you for your question. Yes, you can add Sonos One/One SL behind for surrounds and even Sub if you wanted.
Q: is the optical the ONLY way to connect my TV or can I connect my TV via bluetooth?
A: I returned mine because Optical was the only way to connect to my TV and the Sonos App was the only way to control the volume.
Q: blue tooth available on ray sound bar?
A: Bluetooth is not available, but you can stream from your devices over wifi using Apple airplay, spotify connect, and others.
Q: Does the Sonos Ray provide any sort of water resistance like the Sonos Roam or Sonos Move?
A: Hi! Thank you so much for your question. Sonos Ray is not designed for water resistance.
A: Great question! As long as the remote is IR (it probably is) its a breeze. In the app, go to settings -> system -> name of the room -> scroll down under Home Theater, you'll see the option for "remote control setup". - We'll walk you through it from there!
Q: Does this unit have an optical input?
A: Yes, the Ray connects via optical connection. Note that it doesnt have hdmi connection capabilities.
Q: Is this soundbar compatible with Samsung TV Model UN65DU7200D?
A: This soundbar is not compatible with any TVs as it does not have HDMI ARC. The only way to connect to a TV is via Digital Optical cable and because it’s an optical link features like volume control (via HDMI-CEC) will not work

Great soundbar!
Went in looking for a basic soundbar and came home with this awesome soundbar that sounds great and is everything we wanted - all for $200! The salesperson that helped us was very helpful. Was easy to setup and has a very user friendly app. We love it and would highly recommend it!
