A: Hi Steve, The 98" Class BRAVIA 5 Mini LED features a high-brightness panel and XR Motion Clarity to keep images sharp, though it does not include the specialized "X-Anti Reflection" coating found on our higher-end models like the BRAVIA 9. Glad I purchased this Monster!
After a few months researching 98-100 inch Tv's to replace my 65" LG oled. I waited a few months before writing this review so I could get a feel for this set. I'm impressed with the 98 Bravia 5. It turned my Fan Cave to a home theater. This TV is huge coming from a 65.. I thought the black level was going to be terrible compared to the Oled but the black levels are excellent. The tv only have one flaw, Sony should improve the anti reflection quality of the screen. In a way this set is so big than the reflections get lost most times especially in bright scenes. I installed some theater lighting that's dimmable they help a great deal. When viewing movies tv shows and sporting events in the dark it's crazy good. All in all I love this TV. I only have one suggestion the wall you hang this TV on paint it black and or a very dark color. When you guys see my photos that black wall makes my gear and LCR speakers almost disappear.

It’s Nice, It’s Big But…
I still have my reservations, I’ve had it for about 3 weeks now and… I’m not really sure how I feel about it honestly. It’s huge and it feels the space supremely but the picture quality is still pretty up in the air and hit or miss. I mainly stream YouTube TV and that may be my problem but sometimes I get a wonderful picture and sometimes it’s just a little dull and fuzzy. Brightness leaves a lot to be desired as well but if you put on a high definition full 4K formatted movie a show like on Netflix or Prime Video and then you get a very high level output from this thing. It’s much better from distances I would say considering I watch it mainly from my kitchen opposed to sitting on my couch in front of it. Basically… I’m still kinda torn on it but obviously it isn’t that bad because I haven’t returned it yet. PS5 looks awesome too so if you want BIG and to fill in a lot of space, this is an option

Incredible 98” Home Theater Experience
Absolutely blown away by this TV. The 98” BRAVIA 5 Mini LED is a true home-theater experience—the picture is incredibly bright, sharp, and vibrant, with excellent contrast and deep blacks thanks to the Mini LED backlighting. 4K content looks stunning, and motion handling is smooth for sports and movies. Google TV is fast and easy to use, and the build quality feels premium. If you want a massive screen with top-tier picture quality, this TV is worth every penny.
