Q: Is this lens really worth the weight and money?
A: Being a 1.4 and a Zeiss it’s a great lens ...for landscape and some portrait shots it can give you amazing images, I will say that I like the 50mm 1.4 Sony Zeiss a little more seems to have more pop in the pictures but if you’re looking for a wide angle lens this is great and can be used for portraits if needed, build quality is great.

400$ cheaper than g master. Clicked some great pictures with it. Good use of 1.4

Quickly became my new favorite lens. I can use it for portraits and macro. Bokeh is smooth and pleasent.

Pro: Supper sharp, really nice bokeh, silent focus. Cons: Big, even with A7rII
