Q: What is the frequency range of these devices?
A: Great question, Singlemalt! The frequency range for Sony CRE-E10 OTC hearing aids is 125-8000 Hz. Regards, Erin
A: They say that you will still have 80% battery capacity after 3 years. The best 1300.00 I have spent. This is the new model.
A: So sorry you're experiencing discomfort. The Sony OTC hearing aids only work with the vented click sleeve and closed click sleeves. You may benefit from seeing a hearing care professional for a device with a custom fit. Erin

Q: Is there a way to turn off the annoying tones that play when they turn on?
A: Hi bleu! Thanks for your question! The musical tones that play when the devices are powered on act as an audible indicator that the hearing aids are powered on and ready to use. There is no way to disable these tones. If you wish to not hear the tones are they play, you can delay hearing aid insertion for several seconds after closing the battery door (C10) or removing hearing aid from the charger (E10). Regards, Erin
Q: can I purchase a replacement charging case for sony CRE-E10
A: My charger suddenly stopped working overnight. I did everything the Sony website suggested, but nothing worked. I didn't see an option to buy a replacement charger. I was concerned that this was the end of the line for my hearing aids. Then I did one final thing -- I replaced the original USB cable with another one I just happened to have on hand. That was the issue. The old cable had stopped working (who knows why?). The charger now lights up again.
Q: I have a Samsung phone. Can I use this phone to program the hearing aids?
A: I would like to know as well , I hope the customer service is better than lucids
Q: Can they be used in only one ear?
A: Sony OTC hearing aids are only able to be purchased and set up as a pair. They were designed to be used as a pair for percieved mild to moderate hearing loss in both ears. Setup does require both hearing aids, afterwhich you can wear just one hearing aid if you have hearing loss in just one ear. However, if you have one-sided hearing loss, you may want to first follow up with a hearing care professional or medical doctor. Erin
