Q: Does this one have the finger print sensor?
A: Does it have the fingerprint sensor? Yes. Is the fingerprint sensor activated on US version of the phone? No. Can you flash a different region ROM to activate the fingerprint sensor? Yes. Is it hard to do so? Kind of. Will it void my warranty? Maybe.
Q: What is in the box? Does it have headphones?
A: Unfortunately, it does NOT. Although it's an amazing phone, this was a very unpleasant surprise.
Q: Does the xperia x compact come with a manufaturer one year warranty?
A: It has a one year warranty.
Q: Is this GSM unlocked for any GSM network?
A: It's unlocked for any network but make sure its frequencies are compatible with those of the service provider you will be using. Being unlocked and being compatible are not the same thing. I use mine on T-Mobile (USA).
Q: Does it have an earbud port?
A: Yes, the X Compact has a standard earbud jack. It is on the left size of the top bezel.
Q: Does this phone include a charger?
A: Yes, a charging adapter and cord are both provided in the box. Many standard USB-C chargers (such as the Targus USB-C Travel adapter, and the one provided with the Lumia 950/950 XL) are also capable of charging this phone.
A: The battery is not consumer replaceable. I have not looked into a water resistant case. Sorry. I had Z3 compact previously and never needed water resistance. Sony's new xz1 compact is water resistant.
Q: does sony comact phone have a hot spot app
A: Most smart phone can act as a WiFi hot spot, if that is what you mean by "hot spot app", and the Xperia X compact is no exception. I have certainly used it as a hot spot.
