The definitive way to watch the best Spidey films
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Between its excellent case, photos from the set, and having the extended cuts to both Spider-Man 2&3, this is a perfect addition to any movie goer’s collection.

Comprehensive Collection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This collection of Sam Raimi's original Spider-Man trilogy is probably as good as it could get. Of course, the movies themselves are very good (Spider-Man 3 only having good PARTS), but I'll just give a quick review here if the set itself and the extras. Cover art is not great, but you can see that. The package design is nice. It follows the digibook approach with nice hardcover exterior and some papercard pages where each disc rests. Before the films is a section of booklet with a short essay on each film. Haven't read those yet but it's a nice touch nonetheless. The picture quality is fabulous, particularly in Spider-Man 2. Sound is pretty good as well. I also haven't had time to look a lot through extras, but everything from previous home releases seems to be included. There are hours and hours of featurettes and documentaries. There also a good number of commentaries, leaving you with many ways to watch each film. Some notable additions to this collection are Spider-Man 2.1 and Spider-Man 3: The Editor's Cut. The former is a slightly extended version of the movie we already loved, and the latter is a newly released cut of the troubled film that is allegedly better (again, haven't watched it yet). If you grab this set fast, you can get $7.50 off a ticket to Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is a pretty good deal. These are good movies, get 'em.

Worth it only for new cut
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you own the original Blu Rays of the first three Spider Man films, there is nothing new to see here. The only reason this gets a 4 star rating is the inclusion of the new "Editor's Cut" of Spider Man 3. In regards to the new edit, it's a nice inclusion that takes material out but restores some new scenes. Most of the material is minimal but the small stuff enhances some big character moments. If you hated the third film and think this will redeem it, you might be disappointed considering scenes like the infamous dance scene are left in. However, the pacing and storytelling is marginally better with the exception of a few new additions that add some emotional weight. There's more that shows the black suit is a separate entity from Peter, there's a short but bittersweet scene between the Sandman and his daughter and others. The only reason this new set is worth getting is for the new cut of Spider Man 3. If you were hoping for added material and hours of deleted stuff from the vaults, you might be underwhelmed...

Nice Book Packaging
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I grew up on these Spider-Man films. I own all three on DVD but never purchased them on Blu-Ray because I wasn't impressed with their cover art or packaging. I first saw that they had steel case of all the movies but the packaging was not very nice. The disc-holders were just stacked on top of each other. I preferred this edition's packaging plus the artwork is nice. It has a book of production/making-of process that is really nice too. It makes me feel bad that I have to open it and put a crease in it. Loved that this came with digital downloads as well. If you are a fan of the movies, this is definitely a nice collector item with some cool features.

A great set!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great addition to any Blu Ray collection, and a must have for any Spider-Man fan! It includes each film, plus extended versions of Spider-Man 2 and 3. Plus, you get the digital copies. Each movie comes in its own sleeve in this book style case. I prefer this to the steel book version, which has all the discs stacked on top of each other. That was the deciding factor for me when choosing between the two sets. Also, I like the behind the scenes photos and info in the pages of the packaging.

Early 2000's Spider-Man awesomeness
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This collects all three Tobey Maguire-starring Spider-Man flicks in one package (including the extended Spider-Man 2.1 and a new cut of Spider-Man 3, it's technically five movies), and it quickly reminds you that--save for the effects work--this was always better than the two Amazing Spider-Man movies that came after. While Spider-Man 3 kind of crumbles under its own weight, the first two remain all-time superhero classics, and they're definitely all up for multiple viewings.

Still phenomenal Movies!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great set to own with behind the scenes pages! High Sony Bluray quality and hours of bonus features. Even if you think these movies are "OLD" and don't matter because they aren't in the MCU. You CAN NOT deny the effect this trilogy had to shape the genre how it is today. Still Spectacular, still Amazing, still SPIDERMAN!

Love this collection
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I already owned Spider man 1 and 2 but I still decided to pick this one up. I love the booklet design, that in itself is worth the buy. Sam Raimi sure delivered with these fine films. A shame that he couldn't keep the momentum going with the 3rd chapter. Still nontheless, extremely satisfied with this purchase.
