Great smart-phone for the price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is great on all fronts though I am disappointed with the quality of the camera, compared to my previous phones. The ease of use, features, etc. make it an excellent choice for the money and for the cost of monthly pay-as-you go" service. I opted to use my credit-card for automatic billing and pay $35 per month for unlimited text and talk and 1 gig of data. I have it in an Aero Armor protective case and it looks sharp and serves me well!

Great first smart phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I happened to need a pocket-sized device that had the ability to set alarms (thus, a phone made sense, since they're almost always set up with an app to do that), and I also needed to occasionally access a certain web site, and screen size wasn't that important (which it usually is for me, and thus, I never really use tablets or smart phones, as their 'tiny' screens and horrible virtual keyboards make them all but worthless, at least to me !). This phone happened to be on sale when I went in to BB (half price !!), and a $5 off coupon I earned thru their rewards program didn't hurt anything either. The 'looks' of the phone are great (black on the face, and white on the back), and the speed is terrific. As a wi-fi device (what I bought it and use it for), it's great, and I didn't buy it as a phone, so I can't comment on reception or sound quality for phone use. I was very impressed by the sound output on apps that have sound (like games). I haven't used the camera, so I can't comment on that aspect, either. OK - to summarize - great phone, decent screen size (for the price !), great speed (a quad-core processor no doubt is the reason), and great looks. If it's on sale, you can't go wrong... P.S. The only issue to remember is that if you don't use it as a phone, every time you power it on, it tries to connect to Sprint (the 'issuing' company) and register itself. Since it's not activated, it tries for about 3 minutes or so before it finally gives you the option to cancel out. Until then, you essentially cannot use the phone for anything. Of course, this sucks, but if you're patient, it's a non-issue...

Runs smoothly, little space
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this phone because I was fed up with how slow my previous phone ran, and with its constant restarts. This phone fulfills my expectations and runs very smoothly. It has not needed to restart while I am using it, and its battery life is phenomenally greater than my old phone. Since it ran so much better, I decided to download apps and games that I had wanted to try, but which caused my old phone to crash. However, in doing this I quickly ran up against the space limit inherent on the device. I tried moving apps to the microSD card which has ample space, and only a few of them were able to move at all, and those that are able to tend to still take up quite a bit of space on the device even after the move. The issue with moving probably has more to do with android than with this device in particular, so I am overall quite pleased with it.

I celebrate my Tribute
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I was a song writer and a sentimental fool I would spend all day writing love songs to this phone because my son no longer has an excuse as to why he does no answer my calls. In the past my son has used every excuse in the book to explain away his not answering his dads calls but with this amazingly durable phone he has none and truth be told he really likes it he evewn sleeps with it under his pillow to keep his brothers from playing with it while he sleeps. Thank you LG and thank you best buy

Great phone at a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG Tribute with a 1.2GHz Quad core is one of the fastest budget phones you can buy. I would place it on-par with many more expensive phones. While the screen resolution isn't up to what you would expect from an iPhone or a S5, for the $40 I paid for this phone it can't be beat. Internal storage space is also small, but there is an SD card and Android 4.4 allows apps to be installed to the card. Cases for the phone aren't sold at Best Buy, but can be found online.

Can go wrong for the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this phone for my son who's 11. He was taking a trip to visit his mother and I wanted him to have something reliable. Phone is pretty basic but works as advertised. He loved it. He thought it was "top of the line". Games worked great. Phone clarity and signal are outstanding. Totally reccomend it. Best buy set it up super fast as well. Overall great product and service

You get what you pay for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this phone. It had a decent camera and an easy to use interface, as well as okay battery life. My only is issue was the storage. You only have but so much storage and this phone came with so many preloaded apps that took up most of the storage. And most of those apps couldnt be switched over to your sd card so you're stuck with them clogging up space on your phone, making it slow. Other than that, if you don't need a lot of space for music or pictures, it is a really great phone for the price it is.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this one for my 13 year old sister , at first she didn't wanted at all. by now its been around 9 months and she would let it go shes happy with it the only thing is camera quality lacks so much other than that the battery lasts less than 12hr but screen quality is great. Amazing for quick texting.
