Questions & Answers

Popular Topics

  • Q: What is the temperature of the rinse cycle?

Asked by chuck on October 23, 2016

    • A: Hello, the wash and rinse water temperature depends on which of the 6 wash cycle you choose. The Wash temperature ranges from 122° F to 136°. The Rinse cycle temperature ranges from 131° F to 154° F. The instruction manual for this dishwasher has each cycle explained by how many pre-wash, wash, rinse and dry time along with the temperatures of each wash and rinse and if that cycle dispenses the rinse aid. I highly recommend this washer and have used all but one of the cycles (rinse only) with great results. I hope this helps.

  • Q: How long on the hoses and are they retractable? What is the shortest cycle?

Asked by Rose on April 18, 2017

    • A: Hi, water supply/drainage hoses are approximately 36 inches from the back of the washer to the connector, when extended. Yes they retract as well as the power cord, out of the way into a nice cubby in the back. The shortest cycle is 25 minutes for "quick rinse" cycle but the shortest complete wash cycle is the "speed wash" which takes 65 minutes. The six cycles run from the 25 minutes to 135 minutes for "heavy wash" lots of choices and all work excellent for the appropriately named cycles. I hope this helps, Jon (HonestJoe68)

  • Q: How long are the cycles? I read a review that stated the run time of the portable dishwashers is two hours. Is that true?

Asked by Anonymous on November 21, 2014

    • A: The complete cycle for the SPT - 18" Portable Dishwasher is about 70 minutes.

  • Q: Does this dishwasher require a special type of detergent? Are pods OK to use or must it be liquid detergent?

Asked by KitchenQueen on September 12, 2017

    • A: You can use the all in one pods as long as you use the all in one cycle on the dishwasher. The machine comes with a little basket to put the pod in. You can also use powdered or liquid detergent for all other cycles. I have had mine for several months and I love it. I use pods and they work great I have discovered though that powdered is much cheaper so I will switch to that when the pods run out especially since this washer has a dispenser for jet dry
