Fun farm sim
||Posted .Similar to previous harvest moon entries and stardew valley, Trio of towns has you raise a farm of your own. The graphics are cutesy and the music is catchy. My kids love the game, especially the multiplayer aspect. On a side note, ordering it on best buy, I ended up scoring the "preorder" edition of the game that came with the stuffed animal.

Awesome Game
||Posted .I love this game! It's so much fun and I could spend hours and even all day playing it. I used to love Harvest Moon growing up and this is very similar to it, but even better! I love that you can customize your character (choose the gender, clothes, hair) and you can even have a pet. The animals are super cute and I love that there's 3 towns which makes it even more fun. There's so many people/villagers that you can form friendships with and the festivals are really fun. I also like working on forming a love relationship with the elegibale bachelors to build up to marriage and then children. If you like farming or simulation games or if you're just a fan of previous games in the series or Harvest Moon, don't hesitate to buy this game!

The real Harvest Moon
||Posted .Story of Seasons Trio of Towns is the next game in the real Harvest Moon series, known as Bokujō Monogatari in Japan. Natsume used to publish the series here in the US under the name Harvest Moon. The company no longer has the rights to the Bokujō Monogatari series, but they do still own the name Harvest Moon so Natume continues to release their own in house games as "Harvest Moon" games. Xseed now has the rights to publish the Bokujō Monogatari in the US, but they cannot use the Harvest Moon name so they are releasing the games under the title "Story of Seasons".

Cute and fun!
||Posted .I've been a harvest moon fan for so long so it's no wonder I'm a fan of this game too. It starts you a bit ahead of where most hm games do, you already have a coop and a barn, and there are these part time jobs you can do to make money until you start making money from your farm. The character design options are decent, not a lot but some, and it has multiple options to skip the introduction so you don't have to have your hand held when playing a new file. Overall, if you are a fan of hm games, you'll like this one too!

Watch out for the capybara
||Posted .Got my girlfriend the preorder version that came with the small stuffed capybara. I've seen a few of these hanging around in stores. The little capybara has been showing up all around the house. My girlfriend is a fan of previous games in the Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons series, and she seems to like this one, although she said the bachelor choices aren't that great in this one. She does like the Mario costumes you can make later on, she said that's better than the Mario crops you could harvest in the last game.

Great game for fans of the series
||Posted .I haven't gotten extremely far in this game yet, but I really enjoy it so far. I liked the previous Story of Seasons game a lot and I didn't think this one would top it, but it definitely has. I absolutely love the changes in the art style and I think the bachelors and bachelorettes are better in this game than in the previous game. I'm not sure how people new to the series would feel, but I think that people who liked Story of Seasons would like this game.

It's the 20th anniversary!
||Posted .It's going under the name of "Story of Seasons" these days, but this is really the true Harvest Moon! They really nailed the anniversary too in my opinion! It has that classic gameplay you know and love, but with the twist that you are helping out 3 towns. By doing business with the towns, you help their towns grow. The villagers are more fleshed out too, which is a plus for me because socializing was always what I liked most in the game!

Great Relaxing Game
||Posted .It’s still the same cozy time and resource management simulation we fell in love with decades ago, but Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns stands out from the pack in understated ways. Its gentle but omnipresent plot functions in tandem with a broader perspective of agriculture to serve up one of the more distinct entries in this long-running franchise.
