I know a lot of people have been hating on this collection do to its lack of console versions of titles that have more characters for a few of the games. Like Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max Upper (PSP) release. Also they added Training Mode and Versus as well as adding online play to Street Fighter 2, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter III: Third Stirke. Now for many fans that is not going to be a huge deal as Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo got the remasters with new artwork which got put on PS3/Xbox 360 and Switch then got the exclusive Ultra Street Fighter II which had some of the same enhancements, but also got fixed text and two new characters. In my opinion what makes this collection so great is that it has the extra bits of information that tells you in detail the history of the games. Also about some of the glitches such as how to have a Ryu vs Ryu match in Street Fighter II's original Arcade release. It also gives you cool tips like the fact you can beat opponents in Street Fighter (the first game), with one Shoryuken. Which was actually cool since I was unaware even though I have played that title many times. This is a great collection of 12 games from the fighter that basically made the genre what it is today. Collections have been released for Street Fighter before, but this one has the largest collection of titles for the series in one place and you get to play them in raw format pretty much. Having the PS2 games it would have been cool if they added Pocket Fighter or something like that, but having them all for the first time in one place is great for me.

The score would be a lot higher since there would not really be anything for comparison. But that is not the case since there have been numerous ports created over Street Fighter's 30 year history. The comparison I made are between the Dreamcast, PS2, PS3 and PSP ports. -Cannot set Online preference so there is a chance to play against people with poor connections. -SF Alpha 2 Gold and Alpha 3 Upper (8-10 Console characters depending on the PSP port) are not included. -No Online option for Alpha 1&2. -No Input buttons for all 3 Punches and Kicks. For those who play on a controller and to trigger supers without a dedicated button will be problematic, especially for all SF Alphas and even SF3 especially when triggering one of Oro's super arts. -Dreamcast and PS2 SF collections have a better presentation despite not having online and had dip switches that covered may versions of the game (Alpha Anthology). - Third Strike audio feels off. Would've like an option that included the arranged music in the ports or at least letting people be able to listen to the third round music arrangement in the Museum. -Training Mode has issues since it was implemented at the last second, additionally training mode is available for only 4 games -Lack of a win screen when fighting an online opponent. This could've been better for a Street Fighter 30th anniversary compilation, but it has too many elements that feel rushed.

This is not a bad collection. It's actually a good one that includes the original Street Fighter including the main games and a few revisions from Street Fighter II to Street Fighter III. There are a few extras including character sprites, profiles and a timeline with a brief history of the series. However, there could have been more content such as Puzzle Fighter, the Street Fighter EX series, dip switches and online for more of the titles included. All in all, a decent collection if you loved the Street Fighter titles and want to relive those days.

I grew up playing Street Fighter in the arcades since the very first one and have played each port/version throughout the years. I hold so many fond memories playing these games and it's an absolute joy having them all accessible on one disc. Yes, there are console versions that are not here, but this is an arcade collection, so know that before buying. I have no complaints at all with this game. It plays great as you'd expect. While there have been many ways to play these games, it really is nice to just have them all in one package.

The presentation of this Anniversary Edition is very streamlined and appealing, even the music is suitable and not over the top. All Street Fighter are perfect Arcade ports from the sound to the frame rates. It will truly make you appreciate the evolution and history of the series. The price is also a bargain for the amount of games you get. Great job to Capcom and a collection worthy of Street Fighter enthusiasts.

The online is not great. The online mode is only for 4 games(Hyper Fighting, SF2Turbo, Alpha 3 and third strike.), as well as training mode only available for those games. The console exclusive characters(guile in alpha 3 etc) are not included. Despite that, this is the only modern collection and close to arcade perfect. Still worth playing for the price. The games are great enough to stand on their own.

This game brings back great memories of the early to mid 90s when going to the arcade on a weekend was the thing to do. Waiting your turn to play the winner of each match with a pocket full of tokens was the highlight of being a kid, and now you can play it all in the comfort of your own home...my 13 year old self would be in utter disbelief.

The interface is odd. Capcom made some odd choices on how to select games and modes. Arcade versions of each game so they look great. Fun to play but the odd layout in general. Great addition for a Street Fighter fan or A fighting Game fan but still lacking, especially since the majority of the available games are different versions of Street Fighter Two.
