Even though this is an 11 song release, the last 4 are actually release/remasters of the Sound Mountain Sessions release in 2012. The opening song, "Believers Of The Day" is by far THE BEST song on the album in my opinion. It has that hard edge rockin and even modern feel to it. Vocally, Oni is very strong on this track. It reminds me of "21st Century Man" from the LM Smoke & Mirrors release of 2009. "Erotika" and "Play The Game" are pretty mediocre, nothing really stands out to me, but they are decent songs. "Subliminal Dream" is an above average song, has a modern feel to it, but musically it's a little lacking. "Black Waters" is a 3 minute instrumental #that should have been the album intro instead# that somewhat reminds me of a longer but softer verison of "Without Warning" from Dokken's Tooth and Nail #1984# release. The cover of Bad Company's "Burnin Sky" is straight up amazing. The acoustic "Sun Red Sun" is a masterpiece dedicated to the late Ray Gillen of Badlands. "Slow Drag, World of Chance, City of Freedom, and Sucka" are from Sound Mountain Sessions" 2012 LM release. These songs were recorded by the mix of G Lynch/O Logan, S Coogan/ R Crane. More new Lynch Mob to be released on Frontiers Records in 2015!!!

I had no idea Lynch Mob had a new disc; not to mention, that my local Best Buy had it in inventory. Thankfully, it was on display and Best Buy took my money. Anyway, being a George Lynch and Lynch Mob fan for many years, I had to pick it up. Lynch Mob fans should easily enjoy this effort. Many killer tunes fast, and slow, with Oni's proficient vocals. One might even think this a follow-up from Lynch Mob's first album so many years ago; though, time has brought a few enjoyable tricks. The album is well written, recorded, engineered, and mixed. Fans of the band will not be disappointed.

Lynch Mob returns with a very good album. This CD has some good rocking songs on it. I really enjoyed the Bad Company cover song. The only downfall is CD is kinda of short. I would like to hear more songs, but what is here is very good.
