Director Stephen Fung knows FUN!
The hero[?] of Tai Chi Zero, Lu Chan [played by wushu champion Yuan Xiao Chao] is kind of an idiot throughout the movie. His rich father is not around, but his mother sees his greatness, despite a large growth on his head at birth "Three Blossoms on the Crown"- which when hit makes him go berserk! Be sure to get the sequel ‘Tai Chi Hero’.

Great mix of humor and martial arts plus steampunk
Both movies - zero and hero are fun together, some great CGI which doesn't overwhelm the story line but adds to it. Great cast of characters. Totally recommend it - BUT you need both movies to appreciate it.
