Pretty Good Movie
Posted .This is a great edition of a pretty good movie. Terry Gilliam's film was recut for theatrical release, and is presented in two versions on this 3-disc set -- the director's cut, and the "Love Conquers All" edition, which has a sappily optimistic ending. The cast is pretty good, featuring performances from Jonathan Price in the lead role, Kim Griest as the object of his affection, Michael Palin as a coworker of Price's who's not all that he seems, and Ian Holm as Price's nervous boss. Robert De Niro and Bob Hoskins appear in small roles. The set design and cinematography are interesting and weird, just like the film itself. This is a definite addition to your collection if you're a Monty Python and/or Terry Gilliam fan.

TERRY GILLIAM'S MASTERPIECE
Posted .One of those films you have to watch a couple times to find everything it offers. Terry Gilliam has a way with his mind and translating it to film. This is my all time favorite Gilliam film and without a doubt in my top 100 greatest films of all time list.
