The Bureau: Xcom Declassified - Windows

I wasn't sure that I would like this game at first... I thought it would be more like X-Com...but after getting settled into the format change, I kind of like the different style of this game...it makes the entire X-Com experience a bit less 2 dimensional...ergo: the more format changes; the bigger the X-Com universe seems...in my humble opinion.

Picked this up for five dollars after waiting forever for this game after reading about it five years ago. Never got it after reviews said the game design was confused, and didn't put the pieces together well. No idea what those reviewers were talking about? The game pretty much is exactly what you'd think a semi tactical fps would be. If you like fps's with decent story and minor character upgrading similar to skyrim, then you'll like this.

Paradoxically, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified feels immediate and inclusive as a strategy game, relying more closely on your rapid-fire commands than the bursts of your rifle. The odd hybrid is far from being fully evolved, but it's well suited to further study.

Even though it has XCOM in its title, it is separate and apart from the original XCOMs and their reboot. I got it on sale and for the money it is quite ok. Plenty of action and some strategy. Overall 4 stars.

Had great hopes, but was sadly disappointed. Controls and commands were somewhat limited. Tried playing it for about 2 hours and gave up. So now it's a dust collector. Also had to unplug my joystick as it kep turning my character to the left. Didn't see any reference to configuring a joystick, so that was another detracter.

Not the best but one of the better XCOM games, anybody who likes Enemy Unknown or XCOM 2 would probably enjoy this.
