Criterion Bluray Version
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I'm a little confused about the specs. The packaging doesn't indicate anywhere that this is 4k, but on Criterion's website it states it's a 4k restoration. Either way it's great to see this incredible film in the Criterion Collection. The artwork on the box is beautiful, but the packaging itself could be better. There's a main "box" and the disc and included booklet are housed in a pullout folding tray. The problem is that the tray slides out a bit too easily, leaving the booklet and disc vulnerable to fall damage. Handle with care! I know it's a petty criticism, but collectors of physical media tend to take pride in the condition, and their handling of, said media. We like keeping our collection in as pristine condition as possible and appreciate products that minimize damage risk. With that said this is a fantastic release with awesome bonus features. Just wish Criterion would do steelbooks!

excellent film, superb bluray
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.A classic, a hard watch in many ways, an excellent film in all ways, so well crafted, acted, directed, shot. By the end Lynch has brought you to an emotional place that overwhelms you, it has a stunningly sad beauty to it, it is hard to explain. This is the best print ever for this film, gorgeous black and white. Get it, watch it.

Classic film hits the mark in criterion!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed.A huge fan of criterion and its collection. All movies (new and old) are remastered beautifully and in most cases better than the standard bluray / 4k edition. A must own for the film guru. Classic!
