Cute Movie!
My daughter came across this book and i was told there is a movie. The book was a good read and the movie was just as cute. I enjoyed the story line behind it as well.

A Likable Movie
In all fairness, my wife loved the movie - I thought it was meh. As i have stated in earlier reviews; It is very important to have contrasting characters for good and bad to play off of each other. While the hero of this story may be cute and brave, the villains themselves were a bit bland. Most of the conflict our hero faced was in overcoming bad situations - which does nothing more than show us how the hero thinks and acts. The story and characters were a little underwhelming, but there may be others out there who would enjoy this one anyway.
I would recommend this movie, but I would have to be selective on who to recommend it to. It really is not for everyone.
