I don't know how well this product works or how great it is b/c unfortunately, I was unable to use it at all. I received a Tile Sport as a Christmas gift, and it will not work, and after over a week of emailing back and forth with customer service, have been told it cannot be replaced. My experience has not been great, and does nothing to recommend this company to me. They are unconcerned about their defective product, and gave me the runaround for over a week before ultimately informing me they could not help. I would not purchase anything from this company based on this experience.
The Tile has been absolutely unresponsive since I opened the package. I downloaded the App and registered my account, then went through the steps to add my new Tile. It would never make the music it was supposed to make when pressing the button, and never recognized by the App. Followed the steps from the website to troubleshoot, including restarting phone and app, to no avail. While it was a gift, I do not believe it was previously added to someone else's account b/c it was sealed in original packaging. Customer Service indicated they would replace it and give me instructions to send it back, only to tell me my email address was not registered. I sent back the Welcome email as well as screenshot of my email address clearly shown in my app. Additionally I was receiving daily emails reminding me to add a Tile to my new account. They kept having me go through the steps multiple times to restart and attempt to add. They did not seem to understand that my issue is that I cannot add my Tile. I was to provide information for replacement which I did, continued emailing for several days, before they finally told me they can do nothing. If they had told me this up front, I would have a different opinion, but these actions make me feel this company does not care and that has resulted in my very poor opinion of this product & company. Perhaps if your product is received in working condition you will have no issues, but I cannot recommend.
