      I don't know how well this product works or how great it is b/c unfortunately, I was unable to use it at all. I received a Tile Sport as a Christmas gift, and it will not work, and after over a week of emailing back and forth with customer service, have been told it cannot be replaced. My experience has not been great, and does nothing to recommend this company to me. They are unconcerned about their defective product, and gave me the runaround for over a week before ultimately informing me they could not help. I would not purchase anything from this company based on this experience. The Tile has been absolutely unresponsive since I opened the package. I downloaded the App and registered my account, then went through the steps to add my new Tile. It would never make the music it was supposed to make when pressing the button, and never recognized by the App. Followed the steps from the website to troubleshoot, including restarting phone and app, to no avail. While it was a gift, I do not believe it was previously added to someone else's account b/c it was sealed in original packaging. Customer Service indicated they would replace it and give me instructions to send it back, only to tell me my email address was not registered. I sent back the Welcome email as well as screenshot of my email address clearly shown in my app. Additionally I was receiving daily emails reminding me to add a Tile to my new account. They kept having me go through the steps multiple times to restart and attempt to add. They did not seem to understand that my issue is that I cannot add my Tile. I was to provide information for replacement which I did, continued emailing for several days, before they finally told me they can do nothing. If they had told me this up front, I would have a different opinion, but these actions make me feel this company does not care and that has resulted in my very poor opinion of this product & company. Perhaps if your product is received in working condition you will have no issues, but I cannot recommend.

      I had an unusual challenge. An aging dog that can't hear to come. I had temporarily lost my senior dog that cannot hear when she was roaming on my property. In the past, she would immediately come when called, but her ears are aging, and she can't always hear when I call. I bought a Sport Tile to help track her, and hoped that she would be able to hear the tile when I rang the tile. It was easy to set up and place on her collar. It dangles a little low from her collar, and clings on her metal water bowl, but I think I can adjust that. She does not mind wearing the tile. The tone that rings when I call the tile is fairly soft, so I am not sure if she can hear the tile, but I think she can feel the tile when it plays the tune. I wish there was a volume control on the tile tune, and maybe a way to change the tune on a tile. It is nice that the tile will play a tune when called. I haven't lost the dog since I installed the tile, but it may help me find her faster, and certainly makes me feel better about letting the dog roam in a safe place.

      Tile ‘gotcha’/no reply customer service

      The on-going complaint about Tile has been that it lasts only about a year—no replaceable batteries—so the whole product is ditched and a new one purchased at a discount. The only choice. Finally, this month, that has been corrected — but the approx. $50 spent on 2 Tile only two plus weeks before leaves one stuck with essentially old, expensive inventory and technology. And Tile won’t respond — and now past Best Buy (where purchased) return period, as I understand. If one can’t trust a company to be ethical and/or customer focused — can their product/s be trusted?! And Tile won’t respond. On a product note, I used the Tile app to ‘ring’ my key (in a small structure) and it worked. But I’d look for a different company’s product, given the other items above, whose product likely also works.

      Useful but only links with one phone

      This works almost as I expected, but the Tile only connects with the phone it was set up with so it's harder to find the Tile from the Tile app on another phone or device. The app doesn't give detailed info on the Tile from a different device so if your phone is lost or gets messed up it could be hard to find your Tile too. I got this to keep track of the only copy of my son's car key since he always loses stuff, but I set it up with my phone so if I'm not with him, the Tile won't be tracked with good detail on his phone. I think that's because the Tile links with the phone's location data that it was set up with by Bluetooth. It doesn't seem to update location from a different phone even though the Tile app is running. It'd also be nice to just replace the battery instead of the whole Tile.

      Got Tile mate and slim for XMas and they died 6/7 months after activation. They never alerted me that they were low on battery or dying, also never alerted me that they had disconnected. Fast forward to 8 months after activation: I misplace my wallet with tile in it. Check the app and see it hasn't connected in over a month. Great. Most useless purchase of my life. Support offered to replace the tile but will not give me a refund. Why would I want another one? It's like replacing broken scissors that don't cut. I strongly discourage you from buying these crappy things.

      I purchased the regular version a year ago, and despite the year guarantee, it died within 8 months. So I decided to upgrade to this sport version. I like the look and feel much better. Easy to sync to my iPhone/tile app (replaces the old tile with this on the app easily and I’m not super techy). Once in a while my phone will say the tile is not active for no real reason. I use it to find my keys, and when I have my keys I use the tile to find my phone. Works well. Let’s hope it last longer than 8 months.

      If you're prone to losing your keys, misplacing your cell phone or can't find your wallet, you are the "perfect" consumer for the tile. It personally saved me hours of frustration, looking for that elusive item that falls between the cracks in the chair or under the car seat. The only downside is that the product lasts for only a year and you have to purchase additional tiles. Your tile will send you advance notice of the need to be purchased. Replacement tiles can be purchased at a discount, however you do need to "retile"

      I got this because I am constantly leaving my keys in different places around my apartment and sometimes they would fall in between my couch cushions and I'd spend more time than needed looking for them. Now, I just use the phone app to ring my tile and waste no time. It also works in reverse so if I left my phone in an unusual place I can ring it with my keys. Only reason that it does not get a 5 star from me is that the batteries are not rechargeable so you need to buy a new one (at a discount) when the battery finally dies (they say it lasts a year).
