(Flash demo) SynopsisDr. Aiden Krone is a former professor of Applied Physics at MIT, notorious for his unrivaled brilliance and obsession with Thermodynamics, Advanced Propulsion and Quantum Electrodynamics (QED). Despite his increasing demands for control and secrecy, he became the founder and lead physicist of a classified Time Travel research program. More than a decade later, Krone's program successfully developed the world's first time-traveling suit technology. However, as the program's equally secretive decision-makers demanded this technology be adapted for military applications, Krone's self-entitlement and anger grew. He desired a new existence where his scientific endeavors could be shaped without outside interference.
The combination of Krone's mind and his suit technology gave him the ability to create and control another existence — an existence where a man of science could finally operate without restrictions, regardless of the effects on humanity. Now it's up to you to trace Krone and stop his tyrannical rule over Alpha District. Don the Beta Suit and master time to become the ultimate weapon.

I hope the game overall is better than the demo!

If you play the demo - it's actually pretty fun how you can manipulate time. Grabbing an enemy's weapon while "pausing time" and then pressing "play" again is fun because the A.I. of the game makes it believable that the enemies are in shock of how the player (you) has the technology to perform such tasks. The demo showed to me that YOU HAVE to manipulate time or you will be unable to succeed in the game. The game has a very "1984" (by George Orwell) or Blade Runner feel to it in regards to ambiance. Very dark and futuristic. After a while, it's sorta the same FPS game with different weapons. After playing so many FPS games on the Xbox, you run out of ways of being creative with that genre of game. This is a little bit of an exception. Can't wait till it is released on Halloween!

Dont get me wrong this is a fun game with all the time controls and what not. But to lay out all the facts i would say that this game flat out sank. The graphics are good but thats about it. There are barely any weapons to choose from, and the online play is the most retarted thing ive ever seen.

Great, Bloody Campaign!

Timeshift is a great game if you don't have xbox live. The campaign is outstanding, bloody and creative. The only problem with campaign is that the last level is incredibly hard to beat, even on easy. If you do have xbox live, I would still definitely recommend it, but multiplayer is definitely not the game's forte. Apart from multiplayer, this is one of the most addicting titles out there.

Very nice graphics but its kind of basic. A shooting game with a pause and rewind feature does make it cool but not cool enough to match Turok or Call of Duty 4.

Time change is fun

TimeShift is a lot of fun, but it is basically the same old FPS (First Person Shooter). The story is not really all that innovative or in depth. You have a suit that can effect time (slow, stop or reverse it). It's the Beta suit and another doctor stole the Alpha suit. So the game takes place during around WWII but all the weapons and everything are futuristic. The other doctor has changed time basically. There are little snippets of the past as you go through and the end makes you a little mad. Graphics are all right, but nothing to instant message your friends about. Storyline is all right, but nothing amazing and the length of the game is really short. This seems to be a common trend on FPS games recently. Online death matches are not very well done and there is no one playing so it is hard to find a game. Achievements are not bad except the fact that about half are used up on the impossible to find online death match games. The single player achievements are not that difficult to get, in fact you will probably get them all playing through the game even without paying attention. (I only played on medium, but it is set up to get all of the lower difficulty achievements, beat on hard and get medium and easy ones, so to play through once you could play on hard).

Good action, almost open ended.

After playing this game, I was impressed, not as much as I thought I would be. I really liked the approach on this game and how the character can mess with time to use it to his advantage. You really need to think about how you are going to control time before you do something because if you don't do the right action, you just might not survive.

It is one of my favorites next to jericho. i admit some puzzles took some time but they were worth it. you get some intresting weapons like a explosive shooting crossbow, missle launching weapons, and also energy beam weapons. an intresting interactive Feature with a six axis contolller is being able to hit enemies with the back of your gun. i give this game five stars

The story line is ok but the scenes are redundent over and over . The Graphics are nothing compaired to the PS3 yes I have both systems. The Aiming to shoot isnt very good and you have to shoot the enemy like 10 times before thay die. The time shift is fun to mess with
overall its an ok game.
