Just unfold the camera and plug in the power adapter and then follow the step-by-step instructions in the Tapo app and within minutes, I had the camera up and running, and connected to my home Wi-Fi network. The Tapo app, which is used to control the camera, is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it accessible for anyone. The camera boasts impressive 1080p HD video quality. The clarity and sharpness of the footage captured is shockingly crisp, even in low-light conditions. The wide-angle lens allows me to angle the camera just right to get the best angle for the entrance to my home. It also comes with a built-in privacy shutter that can be controlled by pressing the button on the side of the camera or through the Tapo app. One of the best features of the Tapo C125 is its advanced AI technology for motion detection. The camera can accurately detect motion and will send you instant notification to my smartphone. The Tapo C125 offers multiple storage options, including local storage via a microSD card (not included) or their subscription based cloud storage. I went with the microSD card option because I had an extra one with 256GB which is plenty enough for my needs. So with this I can set it up immediately to start recording the moment it senses movement, and there will be recording of that on my phone.
