Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Wireless Surround Sound Gaming Headset for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro
We have purchased 3 sets of this brand over a few years time from different merchants. Each pair has separated from the headband by the earpiece. It's wire is now exposed and if you pick them up the ear piece that separated from the headband just hangs. Like I said it's an issue with the headset itself. It happens about a few months of normal use. Not rough on them & they are stored in a safe spot not to be accidentally stepped on or sat upon or chewed on by my pet or nephew. (Haha) It's when you adjust them, it separates. The wired part does not snap. Again, Different merchant same brand same exact problem. This time i purchased a warrantee. These darn things aren't cheap. The last few we just took a loss. Hopefully the warrantee will cover this defect. We'll see. I'll keep you posted! *fingers crossed*
The only reason I don’t give them five stars.is because they are not very loud (like all other headphones). but at night time or wen it’s really quiet they are Louder.. but all in all they are very nice headphones for the price
Seems like this issue is happening to a lot of people. The plastick where the speaker connects to the extending part of the headphones while trying to extended out of no where broke and keeps popping out look in YouTube lots of videos with the same issue I haven't had it not even a year and I use it maybe 3 to 6 hours a week. I took photos but I used black tape to kind of keep it together. I pointed at the area where they tend to break.
I got a set of Turtle Beach Stealth 600 for Christmas. I felt that they felt cheap and uncomfortable wearing them for over 30 minutes. The ear seal is cloth and doesn’t provide a good seal and I encountered crackling in the sound quality. I am not a huge gamer but I hang them when not in use, so they do not see any abuse. I have had them a little over a year and I attempted to re-adjust them and the right ear muff broke off and noticed a crack in the collar on the mic side ear muff that connects the ear muff to the headband. I got a hold of Turtle Beach and they were not real eager to make the obvious defect right. I would not buy Turtle Beach product again because for the price it is not worth them lasting a year and needing new ones. Customer Service at Turtle Beach will not help you either…

Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Review: Great Sound; Uncomfortable Design
The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 delivers superlative sound for both gaming and music, which is the most important thing a gaming headset should do. However, it doesn't fit very well, its design feels too crowded and its awkward PC interface makesFull Review

A:AnswerUnfortunately no. I’ve tried this and fpund that only the sound comes feom the headset’s mic. I guess we just have to stick to the stealth 400, but I’m pretty sure they have stopped making those. I really wish that they would make their headsets to be compatible with both PS3 and PS4.
A:AnswerThe volume works fine. If you feel the headset sound is too low when the headset volume is all the way up, make sure your headset volume in the controller settings is set to max as well. The game volume and the chat volume can be separately lowered on the headset itself. Also, raising the boom mic will quickly mute the mic if desired.
A:AnswerThere shouldn't be, they work perfectly fine for my PS4 and my Laptop. They're meant for the PS4 but they work just as well as any other headphones, just plug in the receiver in your laptop and you're good to go.
