Director Charles Stone III’s anti-ageist basketball comedy revolves around a young black man (Lil Rel Howery) and his dream of winning the Rucker Classic street ball tournament in Harlem. After losing his team to his arch-rival, he turns to a crew of septuagenarians (played by real-life basketball greats $Kyrie Irving}, Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber, Reggie Miller, Nate Robinson, and Lisa Leslie) in his last bid for victory.~Kyle Lavigne

Uncle Drew [SteelBook] [Includes Digital Copy] [Blu-ray/DVD] [Only @ Best Buy]
This movie had me laughing from beginning to the very end. These senior citizens decide to come back the the basketball game, because Dax lost his street ball team to an old rival and he’s determined to put together a team to play against his rival’s team to win the cash prize.
Dax sees Uncle Drew (Kyrie Irving) playing on the basketball court and talks him into getting a team together to play in the upcoming tournament. Uncle Drew contacts all his old homies, but he had old unresolved issues with his friend played by Shaquille O’Neal; who in the beginning resisted the idea of playing ball with Uncle Drew, but soon came around.
In the end they all come together and go on to win the basketball game that most people thought they would lose, due to them being much older than the opposing team.
Honestly when I was in the theater and saw the trailer for this movie I thought to myself who in their right mind would see this? It look like a campy and somewhat stupid movie. I was so wrong very entertaining with a positive message also one of the funniest movies of the year. Do yourself a favor grab a few friends and watch this movie. As the matter of fact we bought this as a gift for everyone for Christmas.
Being a former basketball player I buy all movie dealing with sport. I would have to say this is one of the funniest movie I have watched in some time. Throughly enjoyed and Steelbook made it even better.
I would recommend this to a friend

Very good movie. Great family movie and it is great. Kyrie does an amazing job. Keep being great sir.
A lighthearted story that combines comedy with a touch of drama and history into an easy to digest movie. This film provides a much needed and appreciated break from all the heaviness in the world today. The Blu-ray exclusives and special features give more opportunities to escape from all the madness for a few more moments. I especially like the "Dear Drew Animated Short" and the club dancing scene. The casting, directing, acting, location and action are all on point.
