If you WANT to waste your hard-earned money, go for this Phone. I bought this phone, and stupidly, also gave it to my in-laws as a gift last year. Guess what! Both of our Houses have already bought new phones few weeks ago from Panasonic to replace this Beautiful looking monster. Range=Horrible, Price=Horrible, Sound Quality=Horrible. The only thing that I liked about this phone; I received compliments of it's good looks from visitors (although when they try to make calls, they realize that the phone is completely worthless). DO NOT buy this Phone.

I bought this phone because I thought that it was a nice phone and that I wouldn't have any problems with it. The features on it are really cool, like you can download your own ringtones and wallpaper to it. But then they phones started acting weird and on the screen it kept saying "searching for base". And then everytime the phone rang we tried to pick it up but it still said searching for base. Then the words on the screen flipped upside down. THe phones just stop working completely. Also when we called Vtech to tell the problem hoping that they would help us they told us that there was nothing they could do. I would never ever recommend this phone to anybody ever.

I bought this phone because of the styling. That's about all it's good for. When it works, it works pretty well. I had to have it replaced before the first year was up. It kept "Searching for Base."
I got the replacement phone, and it's worked a little longer, but the battery life is pretty short, and if I get too far away (about 50-60'), it starts looking for the base again.
Considering the cost, I'm very disappointed with this phone, and I doubt I'll ever buy another VTech. That's the second VTech phone I've owned, and I wasn't too impressed with either one.

This phone worked for a while then all the handsets stopped working as they are all still searching for base. Replaced batteries, wrote to VTech and still no remedies. I bought the same phone system for my daughter for Christmas and she has the exact same problems - only sooner. I am now going to replace the entire (rather pricey)system with a Panasonic wish me luck.

This phone was great for a while, but then the batteriesdont hold a charge for long which results in the extra handset constantly searching for the base, and loud static on whichever phone needs a new battery. I have puchased probably 4 new batteries over the course of 2 years for these phones - at this point it is going in the garbage and am buying a different brand. It seems after reading reviews that this is not an isolated problem with this phone....

not a year long and the battery needs to be replace. no matter how much u charge it. its more like a little display phone than actual phone. too sensitive if u drop it by accident.

Another V-tech phone of mine crapped out, was able to get a replacement but now the zero button and pound key do not work. No tele-banking for me!

Unfortunately, I threw away $150 bucks on this so called telephone. The phone constantly drops calls and says it is searching for the base when the base is a mere inch away. I don't know who the CEO at V-Tech is, but he/she should be fired!!!!!
It now serves as a paperweight in my office. Sometimes I play phone fetch with my dog. He seems to retrieve the phone consistantly. I am trying to get him to bury it out in the back yard.
