Q: Is it possible to use this hard drive as an updrade for PS4
A: Yes it is, but you will loose a lot of storage space. What I did with my PS4 is I bought a 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive. My PS4 boots and loads faster and you have 1TB of storage.

great hard drive
This hard drive is meant to be a network attached storage drive but can be used as a stand alone drive in laptops. It runs quiet is an intellidrive that the rpm's range from 5400 to 7200 depending on the load. It 's fast and responsive, and runs cooler than the average drives. performance is great and best of all the price was around $78.00 for the 1TB 2.5 inch drive.

Haven't had any problems, was able to get large storage volume for NAS. Compact and efficient.
