I bought this item with the intent to workout while watching T.V. The setup is rather easy (did it in less than 30 minutes) and it is very easy to use, but there in lies the problem. I am used to biking so I need a little bit better resistance than the standard user. I have the levels maxed out and have no problem pedaling without feeling that burn we bikers like to feel in our thighs.
I can ultimately get over the low resistance levels...My least favorite feature is adjusting the bike for the height of the user. My wife also likes to use the bike to workout. She is 5' 4" while I am 6' 0". The only way to adjust this bike is to turn a small lever at the bottom of the bike and slide the entire seating mechanism forward. The only way I have been able to do this without holding the machine against a wall and pulling/pushing with everything I have, is to use a hammer and bang on it. For obvious reasons, I get frustrated having to hammer the bike every time I have to switch riders.
The value of this bike is okay, as long as you want a light workout and you don't plan on anyone else using this bike.

This is honestly one of the best purchases I have ever made. I have been using the bike on almost a daily basis and I can feel and see results already. I did alot of research before purchasing a exercise bike and decided on this one because it was recumbent and had several programs to choose from. I enjoy working out on the bike 25-30 miles daily while watching television. You get what you pay for and for 230 I think this was well worth the money and I'd recommend it to anyone.
