Not Clear Instructions
Great quality product but install instructions lacking. Says to link to a video but shows it being installed with a laminate countertop that can be drilled into not what to do with mable, quartz or granite. Other than that works well looks great and fits with our 36 inch Samsung gas cooktop.

Great kitchen downdraft vent
Excellent downdraft for a kitchen island. This was the only one we could find where the motor could be put on either side of the down draft vent. Thank you so much to Whirlpool for making this item. It took a bit of work to take it apart and put the motor on the other side before installation, but the instructions covered this and it worked. Now the side installed on the inside of my island cabinets only inserts just 4 inches into the cabinet beyond the side of the vent vice the 8-10 inches it would have been had we not moved it to the other side. The motor runs smoothly, is fairly quiet compared to others we have seen, and has a good range from low to high speed.

Keeping My Kitchen Smoke Free
Love this product. Love the way it keeps the smoke down when cooking. I cool a lot of steaks on the stove and it helps keep the smoke down. This is one of the best innovations I’ve purchased. Thanks Best Buy.
