Nitro batteries are designed for higher performance and longer runtime, so while standard 20V batteries will work, using Nitro batteries can provide more power and efficiency for demanding conditions. For best results, WORX recommends higher-capacity batteries such as the 4.0Ah or 5.0Ah packs, which allow you to clear larger areas without frequent recharging. Great way to save your back!
It took us a quater of the time to clear the snow. My 12 and 14 year olds were able to use it! Great price to save your back. We lucked out on promotional set of extra batteries. Hope it lasts for a few years!!

Love my Worx tools
I’m so excited to have this snow shovel going into winter! Very easy to assemble and use, comes with two batteries and a charging dock, and is easy to store. This is the perfect tool for driveways, sidewalks, and decks.

Get rid of your old school shovel
Our building needed a snow blower this season and we knew we wanted to go with something that was battery operated, but also was compact enough to handle a gangway, a few parking spaces, around dumpsters and as well as a courtyard and stairs. I am very impressed with how quiet this snow shovel is and how it seemingly chews through fluffy and wet snow! This snow season in Chicago has brought some decent snowfalls. I can easily cover around 2000 square feet. I did buy 2 additional batteries and having those on hand is perfect for when I want to do an extra deep clean. I took half star off because I noticed the handle cracked, and I have only had this snow shovel since late November. I am taking the other half because I noticed the metal extension that folds up seems to have a lot of a play and can’t be tightened, almost like a floppy tent pole. I don’t know if Worx will replace these parts, I have yet to work with their customer service, but I am hopeful they’ll stand by their product
