Solid Show with One Exception
There isn’t much to complain about with WWE Fastlane 2021. But the one complaint I have is sizeable.
Bianca/Sasha vs. Nia/Shayna to Big E vs. Apollo Crews was good. Braun vs. Elias was a nothing match designed to forward an admittedly dumb storyline. Then there’s this solid trio highly entertaining matches including Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Seth Rollins, Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre where they just beat on each other for 20-25 minutes and a 40-minute epic between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan. If that was the entire match card, this would have been in Buy it Now territory.
But we need to talk about the Randy Orton-Alexa Bliss match. The storyline consisted of every cheesy supernatural trick including weeks of dribbling black goo and further took so many twists and turns week to week that not even the great WWE video production folks could make a coherent video package for it. Furthermore, the “match” was then five minutes of stuff that could’ve been on RAW before the inevitable Fiend return to help Bliss win.

Great show I highly recommend for all wrestling fans we find out who edge will pick for his Wrestlemania match a classic between Daniel Bryan and roman reigns
