WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 - Nintendo Wii

This game was one of the best buys I made this year. The variety of match types and scenarios can take forever to play them all. The characters faces and bodies are spot on. You can play for days doing different types of matches. That being said, there were some down points. The only other game types of Road to WrestleMania and a career mode. In Road to W.Mania you take a character, limited to 6 pre-picked ones, and face matches, which you don't pick, for 83 weeks. There is little variety within these matches and the storyline is too basic. In Career mode you take a wrestler, which can be pre-made in a great customizer, and go down different paths to a number of championships. This is one of the good modes of the game, as there is more freedom. Likewise, you still dont choose who you face after you pick which path to go down. All in all, a great game. Any number of kids would like this, even if they are not into the WWE, like me. Likewise, adults can have great fun swinging the controllers like punches and performing huge finishing moves. Great game.
