Xbox - Refurbished 360 Arcade Console

Bought this Xbox for second son, unit was clean and had all the parts described in the description including an HDMI cable. Running 2 weeks so far as my son plays COD MF2 daily and no problems. Unit seems a bit loud but no more than more other son's elite which is a year old. After reading other refurb reviews seems like a good unit is hit or miss based on cleanliness of the unit out of the box. Probably the first time I have allowed my son to play as much as they can to see if the unit gets the RR of death within the 60 day warranty period.

We recently purchased a refurbished XBox 360 for our son. He played it for 40 minutes and the Red Ring of Death came up. (This means the machine is dead) I took the XBox 360 back to my nearest Best Buy and told them what happened and they gave me a choice of another refurbished machine or a store credit. They were great about it. I took the store credit and purchased my son a brand new XBox 360. I'm sure most refurbished items are good but I am not a fan.

I was dissatisfied with the XBOX because of length of time was able to be used. Quit after about 3 hours due to hardware failure. Had this not happened would probably been happy with unit. Best Buy is in the process, however, of returning my purchase money for the XBOX 360. I have purchased other refurbished products and have had no problem with them. Maybe this was an exception but is still very disappointing in the amount of time we could use it

When I purchased the Xbox, it came within a week. When I powered it up on Christmas it did not work. I called customer service and worked with Terry. He got the replacement ordered and I was happy. a week later i get an e-mail notification that it was back ordered. (A WEEK later). After calling about 4 times I finally got Laura on the phone and she told me to take it to a store and have them ship it back to them. I would get my money back. This has been a very dishartening process because my children and I have not been able to play with it at all. Laura offered a solution that should've been offered when it was on back order. How is a product that was in abundance a week prior non-existent at present. Why would I have to wait for my gift cards to be sent to me in the mail when the store has them there. Now I have to wait another week to get the money back.

first one died in 2 days. they sent me a new one and i have had it for about 3 weeks or so and it will not read a brand new disc 80% of the time that is brand new

its a great product to buy i would recommend it to anyone who wants the xbox360 console for a low price
