A Birthday Blast with the Xbox Series S
As a mom who grew up sneaking late-night Mario Kart sessions, I wanted my sons 10th birthday to spark that same gaming magic. This sleek, compact console—barely bigger than a lunchbox—slid right into our setup, whisper-quiet and ready to roll in under 10 minutes. My son’s smile was so large as he unwrapped it was worth every penny. The Series S is a beast for its size, pumping out crisp 1440p visuals and smooth 120 FPS gameplay. Quick Resume lets my son zip between Fortnite, Minecraft, and Halo Infinite without missing a beat, while Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (a steal at $15/month) floods our library with hundreds of titles. From co-op chaos in Overcooked with his little sister to my sneaky Sims 4 sessions, it’s a family affair. Backwards compatibility even let me introduce my son to Fable, and we’re both hooked. 10/10 recommend Best Buy for all electronics.
My son (12) was able to set everything up himself, which is nice because I am simply not tech-savvy. X-box made it very easy to connect to our t.v. and to set up the apps/games by himself with only a little help from me in providing my email address, etc. The speed of this thing is excellent, I notice no lag. The images are sharp. The controller works quickly, easily and I’ve never been more impressed with a video game console. I also want to add that Best Buy made the buying process easy with online purchase and the in store pick up was a breeze. I just showed my barcode from the app, she scanned it, and 20 seconds later I was out the door with the best gift of the year, even better than a Red Ryder BB pew. I will always order my electronics from Best Buy. This made for a great Christmas. Don’t worry, I’m making him work off some of the cost with chores around my house. Happy kid, happy mom.

Amazing Performance in a Compact Console!
