    I had a Sony 3D Blu-Ray Player w/4K Streaming Media Upscaling, being used with My Samsung 4K Curved Screen 3D TV. They came with 1 pair of "Active" 3D Glasses (These Glasses required a battery change just to get through a long movie!!!) I was never happy with the Sony 3D Player, I barely ever saw anything I could get excited about when it came to the 3D effect. Then, Honestly, I couldn't believe it when it quit 2 days after the 1 Year Warranty Expired, and I didn't take it back to Walmart for a couple of weeks, so, Walmart wouldn't take them back!!! (I won't buy electronics there anymore) So, I purchased a Samsung 3D Ultra 4K Blu-Ray Player w/4K Media Streaming Upscale, and I was disappointed when it came with NO 3D Glasses at all. So, I tried using the Sony "Active" 3D Glasses that I already had (The battery eaters). Well, the Samsung didn't seem any better than the Sony, even though it had very good reviews on different web sites I looked at before buying it. My Dad had a much better 3D effect on his LG 3D TV that uses a "passive" (No Battery) 3D Glasses system. Well, I saw these Expand 3D "active" Glasses at Best Buy, and decided that I'd put out a few more dollars, (I might as well at this point) and see if these glasses were any better. WOW.... I saw things in My 3D movies that I've never seen before!!! I've had these movies for over a year now, and I have probably watched each of them (in 3D) ten times or more. Suddenly I want to go out and buy more 3D movies!!! It honestly was almost like comparing Black & White TV to 4K High Definition, it was that dramatic a difference. The picture is fantastic!!! I wore them with Wireless Ear Buds, so, they were VERY comfortable. Compared to those stupid looking, and non functioning, Sony "active" Glasses these are in a league by themselves. I know that there are other, much more expensive, 3D Glasses out there but I can't imagine that they are that much better. If you've got the right 3D TV and 3D Blu-Ray Player, that uses "active" 3D Glasses, You can't go wrong with these. In addition to the visual effect these Glasses are comfortable, they have an adjustable nosepiece, they look a lot better, and best of all they're rechargeable (I got three movies out of a 2 hour charge.. I've already paid for these Glasses just on battery cost), so, NO MORE BATTERY EATERS!!!

    These were recommended to me by the sales person to go with my new 75 inch active 3d 4k Samsung TV. No glasses came with the new set so, you got it go buy some. Well, I have a 55 inch active in my bedroom and it to is a Samsung so I had one pair of rechargeable and several of the battery operated. First note; stay away from any battery operated glasses. One battery may last one movie, then, $$$$ new batteries. My Samsung rechargeable glasses are good on one charge for 4 to six movies. To the point, these were $39.99 a pair and I bought 3 pairs. Brought them home charged them and them proceeded to follow the directions. First use pair with the TV, be at least 3 feet in front of the TV and once paired they should when turned on pair again automatically. At leas that is what the directions said. Bottom line, overpriced, tight fitting and many times fail to pair as noted once pre-paired as per directions. My advice, now that only;y 3 TV makers (Samsung, Sony -active and LG-passive) are providing 3d TVs as the knight in Indiana Jones noted, "Chose wisely." Active is the best and please it may cost a little more but purchase the manufacturers 3d active glasses and enjoy the journey. If I had it to do over I would have ordered the active rechargeables from Samsung. Would I recommend these yes, in a pinch or if you want to save some cash. Otherwise, get the real deal. I should not that now most of the active glasses, Samsung and Sony will work on either TV makers product.

    I have a Samsung Curve UHD with 3D capability. I lost the two inexpensive pairs ($20 battery-powered) of glasses that were very light, but for $20 not indestructible! These glasses are Micro-USB chargeable...big plus. They are on the heavier side, but they work with most active 3D systems as I've used them at friends' houses with Samsung, LG and Sony TVs. Sometimes it takes a few moments to sync with the TV since 'everyone' has a proprietary setup...but give it a few seconds and likely a pop-up on the screen (brand/model dependent) will indicate that they're connected. I wear corrective glasses. At the end of a long movie of wearing both, they feel on the heavy side. However, I suggest wearing them with contacts or those lucky to have 20/20 vision...no glasses + glasses! As with any 3D viewing scenario, I've found that they always work best in a dark or mostly dark space, particularly for scenes that 'pop-out 'at' you'. These are also one of the few options for adding glasses to your Home Theater...and the price is great. 3D Glasses can be hard to find these days. Enjoy!

    I recently bought two pair of these glasses hoping they would work with my Sony TV. I wanted to buy Sony glasses but are hard to find. I have watched two movies so far and these have worked flawlessly, pair every time the movie starts and stay paired the entire time. I have a new Sony XBR55X850C in case anyone wonders if they will work with this model Sony. I had trouble at first getting them to pair with the TV, instructions that came with the glasses are a little bit vague to say the least. If you have trouble pairing, turn the glasses on, make sure you have a 3d signal being ouput from your TV and then hold the power button on the glasses until you see the led start to blink, then release the power button. Your tv should report that they have been paired. Hope this helps any Sony TV owners that are on the fence with these glasses. If I have any problems pop up in the future, I will update my review.

    I have a Samsung TV that came with 4 pairs of glasses which initially I thought were great. My only problem with them was that they ate through batteries like crazy. So I wanted to get something that would work well and not use batteries, but I didn't want to spend a ton of money, given that technically I did have something that I could use. These glasses are great. I've only used a handful of times, but have enjoyed them so far. Some reviews said they fit over your glasses, and I had my wife confirm this. They charge well (directly from my PS4) and last a long time. I took one star away because for some reason it was difficult to connect initially to my TV. It was probably my settings, but their directions didn't work, and they're IT help email in the instructions that come with these isn't valid. So I figured it out by playing around in my TV menu. However once it worked I have not had any issues. Just know that you won't get any support with these if there is a similar issue, but that's not a huge deal. I'll definitely pick up another pair.

    I've used a few different 3d glasses by no means am I an expert but these ones seem to have a better picture quality over the Samsung and Panasonic models I've used. $40 is a little pricey but I would say there definitely worth it, the battery life is pretty stout I haven't ran out of battery life watching a movie including the hobbit saga which each movie is like 4 hours they charge pretty fast. I wear glasses underneath them and they fit right over so I definitely appreciate that. Another HUGE perk is the customer service is phenomenal I was having a connectivity problem which later I found out is a software issue with Sony, they walked me through it obviously running into this problem before and they connected right up after a 3 minute fix.i was actually pretty impressed with how fast they got back to me. So if you ask me these are a home run I've bought 3 of them n I'll be purchasing 1 or possibly 2 more here very soon. {Sony Bravia XBR65x850c 4k 3d etc}

    After ordering and being dissatisfied with the Samsung 3D glasses (SSG-5150GB/ZA), I ordered to try. I didn't want to spend over $50 for one pair which the Samsung rechargeable pair would've been after taxes and I am glad I gave these a shot. In my review of the Samsung SSG-5150GB/ZA, I liked the 3D experience they offered but they felt so cheap when wearing them... Not these The Xpand rechargeable 3D glasses feel sturdy and with how they are built offer a great 3D experience with my Samsung JU7090 TV. No batteries to keep buying like the Samsung pair I briefly had. Make sure you fully charge them before first use.I watched a 2 hour movie with plenty of charge left in the glasses to watch another if I wanted. The lens area is large and the frames keep out light so you are really focused on the movie itself with no "visual" distractions from all sides. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is the connectivity issue. Sometimes they connect right away and other times it took a minute but they ALWAYS connect...at least with my TV. I would definitely recommend these to who are looking for a well built pair of 3D glasses but don't want to spend too much!

    Would have given 5-stars but... Works good, but almost returned them because of difficulty pairing them with my 78" Samsung UHD (curved) TV. Got online and found other people were having the same problem because of poor instructions. First, you need to have a 3D movie playing so an RF (Bluetooth) signal is being sent out. Then you press and hold the power-on button, red-light flashes, then goes off, still no 3D. Keep pressing, holding, releasing. After 5 or 10 minutes of dicking around finally got a message on the screen <<3D glasses connected>>. Once paired, it seems to pair more easily after that. I'm also using Bluetooth to pair with stereo headsets, and I want to get a BT keyboard to use the SmartTV features. I'll come back and update my review if there is a problem with interference. The original Samsung 3D glasses just worked without a problem, wonder why?
