A: I'm sure you can use any brand you want as long as they are similar in size but would recommend to make sure you stick with pellets made with premium woods as it can affect the way the meat turns out if you end up with something cheaply made

A: Yes, I smoked a 12 pound ham no problem.

Totally satisfied
100% satisfied with this grill! We previously had an electric smoker and separate gas grill. When it came time to replace the gas grill, we caught this one while searching and ended up just buying it to replace the grill and electric smoker. It was the BEST decision we could have made! We have had no issues and use it at least 4-5 times per week all year long. We've smoked/grilled almost every kind of meat you can think of and always end up with a super tasty meal. The temperature holds much better than our electric ever did and we can leave it going without having to constantly check it. It is super simple to use and get started. Would buy over and over again!

I use it more than I thought I would. Super easy.
Works perfectly…..lid was shipped warped but I bent it back into shape no problem. I like it and would not trade it. I did purchase an external electric meat thermometer to dial in the internal temperature.
