A pretty and high quality food jar but small

The only problem is the diameter of only 6.5cm, volume is 0.5 liter, which is a little smaller for carrying a normal size of lunch. It should be good to be a soup jar.

Lovely thermos, a touch difficult to clean/put tog

It's a little bit more difficult to clean than, say, a stainless steel water bottle, as there are a couple gaskets which are a bit fussy. However, if you don't mind spending 5 minutes hand-washing it after each use (and once you've figured out how the pieces fit together) it's really a pleasure to use. Keeps food, especially soups and other meals with a liquid base, hot for hours. Seriously, my soup was uncomfortably hot 3 hours after I put it in. Wow! It is a bit smaller than I expected, so I'd recommend sizing up if you can. The 17 oz one is a good capacity for a single, medium-sized lunch (of hearty soup or pasta).
