Q: Description specifies windows, but will this work with Linux/steam deck?
A: The button layout on the controller uses the Nintendo Switch which uses a reversed X/Y and A/B. Easily fixed by going to Settings->Controller->(Nintendo Switch) Pro Controller. Enable the switch that says to reverse the buttons. Now it will be the same as the Deck's.
Q: Does this controller have a 3.5 aux jack?
A: It does not.

A: Im using it on my switch 2 but you have to plug it into a pc and download the latest firmware forbit to pair properly

Q: Can this controller get stick drift of any sort?
A: Technically, it shouldn't, but there is a very low possibility that it can drift. Usually, the issue with this controller is that it can "drift" when it has low battery power because the magnets in the sticks need electricity, after all, to work.
A: Yes, but it will require you to plug the controller into a Windows PC and download the 8bitdo Software in order to update the Firmware of the controller to be compatible with the Switch 2. It is not compatible with the Switch 2 out of the box.

Great Controller – Smooth, Responsive, and Reliabl
This controller surprised me in a good way. It feels solid, the buttons are super responsive, and it actually holds a charge longer than I expected. Pairing it was quick and easy with no issues. I’ve been using it mostly for racing sims and fighting games and the input lag is barely noticeable. Only downside is the thumbsticks feel a little stiff at first, but they loosen up after a few sessions.

Amazing controller, 10 out of 10, 5 Stars
Imma be honest if you are looking for a controller that feels nice and can be used wherever you want this is the one for you. Never have I used a better feeling controller. Only small thing to keep in mind it this version does not do macros,which for some reason I thought it did despite it never once being advertised. Not to worry, however, 8BitDo does sell a controller that does macros if that is what you are after. That said, this controller does do turbo which for anyone who does not know what that is, turbo rapidly presses and depresses a button WAY faster than you or I could ever do it. All in all, it is a lovely controller that has been amazing to use for Pokemon Legends ZA thus far and I imagine I will continue to get further use out of it.

Perfection
This is hands-down one of the best controllers I have ever used. It is so well-designed and ergonomic that it melts into your hands and you forget you are holding it. The rumble is very powerful. The joysticks are similar to the Xbox Series X/S controllers, although slightly less firm in my opinion, which I prefer. I have included a picture of an Xbox Series X/S controller for size-comparison purposes. The build quality is excellent. Also included is a nifty charging dock, which is well-designed and aesthetically pleasing. Overall, very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it.
