Acer - Revo Box AI Mini PC Desktop Copilot+PC - AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 2026 - 16GB DDR5 Memory - 512GB Storage - White

I’ve been playing with this Acer Revo Box AI Mini PC for about a week now and really enjoy it. Versatility to place this thing literally anywhere due to its miniature size makes it a great addition to any space. I’ve had it in the kitchen, family room, bedroom, with a projector in the back yard – it can literally go anywhere by being so small, yet powerful enough to be very useful. The small frame can mount under a desk, sit on top of a projector, or what I’ve done the most and love is just mounting it to the back of my televisions in any given room. It delivers a lot of performance in a surprisingly small footprint with its ultra powerful AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 CPU and the integrated AMD Radeon 840M GPU. This thing has plenty of power for any daily activities, operating a home office, or anyone who just doesn’t want a bulky desktop taking up space. The AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processor packs plenty of punch and provides smooth, responsive performance. Paired with 16GB of DDR5 memory, this mini-PC has more than enough juice to handle everyday multitasking, browsing, streaming, productivity apps, and other demanding tasks, all at the same time. Multiple open programs or internet windows don’t slow it down a bit. A nice bonus is the extra RAM slot so you can upgrade to more memory if you feel the need, but I find 16GB to be sufficient in this rig. Not ideal for gaming, but it actually runs Fortnite on moderate settings with some decent framerates making it suitable for some mild gaming in my opinion. The 512GB NVMe SSD is plenty for everyday users. Being a NVMe SSD provides blazing boot times and speedy performance throughout. It’s a great balance of speed and capacity for what this little machine is capable of. It can hold plenty of files, documents, pictures, programs, videos, games. Definitely enough for every day use. If you’re planning on trying to use this for a lot of gaming or editing videos you may need to attach an external drive, but for what I’m doing the 512 is plenty and runs very quickly and smoothly. I also appreciate how quiet and compact the system is. This can mount to the backside of any size TV and become a large screen full-blown desktop, without the fan noise or clutter of a full tower. This makes it great as an extra computer in the house that can double as a media server and still feels like a full-featured Windows PC. The Copilot+ PC features are a nice bonus as well and this handles Copilot nicely. Set up is very easy, just power HDMI and a USB dongle for my wireless keyboard/mouse. Wi-Fi 6E offers blazing fast wireless network connectivity or if you like the stability and consistency of a wired connection this sports dual 2.5 Gbps ethernet ports. Not sure why they felt the need for 2 but very nice that I can have a hardwired connection. Overall, this is an excellent mini PC for anyone looking for a fast, modern, space-saving computer without sacrificing performance and functionality. I’ve been extremely impressed and very happy with it. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

The Acer Revo Box AI is an interesting device, these types of compact PCs are widely used in the corporate and medical field as a cost-effective Windows PC, often mounted to the back of display monitors. I had never really thought about getting one for home use but looking to update my older Dell All in One PC Desktop I thought this would be cost effective since I already have a wireless keyboard and mouse as well as a number of monitors. The Dell All in One serves a simple purpose basic Internet browsing as well as some Microsoft Office work with Word and Excel. The Revo box has plenty of capability with an AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 CPU with a dedicated NPU (thus why it is called a Co-Pilot PC), it also has 16GB DDR5 Memory and a 512GB SSD (solid state disk). It is enclosed in a small white box and with a frankly generous number of ports one USB4 40Gbps Type C Port on the front, 2 - USB 3.2 Gen2 10 Gbps Type A Ports, 1 - Audio Port. On the rear it has and HDMI 2.1 Port and a DisplayPort (Rear), 2 - USB 3.2 Gen2 10Gbps Type A Ports (this is the old style USB ports, not USB-C), two Ethernet RJ-45 2.5G Ports (which most regular PCs rarely have), 1 -DC-In for power and on the top the power button doubles as a fingerprint reader for device login/unlocking with Windows Hello, which is a really cool capability, again lending itself to business use. As for performance, the AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 CPU and the integrated AMD Radeon 840M GPU offer good performance for everyday tasks. Heavier duty work such as video or photo editing may not be well suited for this device, but in a pinch, you could get by. The NPU helps supercharge Co-Pilot and AI features such as real-time translation and response to Co-Pilot chat sessions with some local processing. Network connectivity is flexible with use of the two (yes two) 2.5gbps ethernet ports or the built in Wi-Fi 6e. Frankly given the inclusion of robust ethernet ports, Wi-Fi 7 could be on my wish list. Also, 32GB of RAM would be nicer, but 16GB suffices. Long gone are the days of having to have a giant tower sitting on your desk to do your computing. These little mini-PC’s are starting to be come the norm. I had been looking to replace my older tower computer with something a little smaller and more energy efficient and this one definitely fit the bill for what I was looking for. Out of the box, this is a very small cube. It’s about 5 inches square and 2 inches tall. Very easy to have this sitting on your desk and not even notice its there. On the front you get 2 USB ports, a USBC port, a headphone jack, and there is also a fingerprint reader on the top. On the back you get 2 more USB ports as well as 2 ethernet jacks and a DHMI and DP port to connect to your monitor. That should be enough ports for most people, but you can always add a few more with an external device. They claim you can hook up a total of 3 monitors to this small PC, although I have only used one. This comes with a Ryzen AI 7 445 processor with 16GB or DDR5 and a 512GB internal hard drive. I did open this up and there is another slot for a second hard drive as well as a second open RAM slot as well, so you can easily upgrade this if you want to. As far as performance goes, this thing runs very well. For basic productivity tasks like office documents, emails, surfing the web, watching videos and things like that, it works perfectly. Its quick and you don’t even notice that this is a mini-PC. I even do photo editing and I had no problem editing thins in Photoshop. I even did some basic video editing as well using Adobe Premiere. So this is capable of some higher end projects as well. Video rendering did take a while compared to a PC with a full-size video card, but this one will work in a pinch. It does come with some bloatware that you will most likely want to uninstall to free up some space since it only has a 512GB main hard drive. This also has a lot of AI features built into it and in the windows ecosystem that are designed to make your life and tasks easier than ever before. AI image generation, click to do, improved search features, and real time translation are just a few. Overall, this is a great PC for someone looking to save space and mostly does basic productivity tasks. Its also great for someone who wants to get more immersed in the world of AI and see what more modern PC’s can actually do! I would definitely give this a try if you are looking for any of these things. I think you’ll really like it!

We bought this computer as an inexpensive way to run our check scanner. It is so much better than I had anticipated. It's super fast and has everything we need for basic computing.

Always owned a Tower CPU and had to be convinced by the Best Buy salesperson to purchase this extremely small Acre unit. Just setup the Acer Revo Box and began using it. Surprisingly, there were sufficient ports to connect all of our devices, and we have no complaints on the speed of the processor. We don't play video games, and we will find out more when we start streaming movies and TV shows online.
