Delivering 150 watts of peak power and 50 watts RMS, these speakers pack a punch without compromising clarity. With a 4-ohm impedance (DCR 3.7 ohms), they provide efficient power handling for smooth, distortion-free performance. Designed to fit seamlessly into most standard installations, the BRV-S65 features a 5-5/16″ cutout diameter and a slim 2-3/8″ mounting depth, making them the perfect upgrade for any vehicle. OPTIM™ Sync Technology Using a dynamic bass boost algorithm, proprietary to Alpine, we are able to extend the bass frequency on each speaker while staying within the safe operating limits. Each speaker features a pre-EQ to enhance the tonal balance during playback. H.E.D.G.E Surround The symmetrical shape, coupled with the High Excursion Design Gathered Edge, allows the speaker to operate in a more symmetrical and linear manner for increased output and extended low frequency. Material and Design The combination of polypropylene and mica material, finished with a gun metal chemical topcoat, creates more rigidity and enhances performance and aesthetic in vehicle. Unique Lapel Cone The unique lapeled cone shape allows us to achieve high cone excursion for more motion and height when compared a traditional speaker. Phase Sync’d Coax By having the coax tweeter inlaid without a tradition coax stem, the acoustic phase of the signal transmission between the cone and the tweeter diaphragm create a aligned output that creates less of a point source feeling and more of a unified and wide dispersion of sound without compromise of cancellations.
