Q: I think this laptop comes out mid next month? but ones I seen are i7 8 gigs and 512 storage...
A: Hey Randy, I'm fairly certain that this product's specs are misrepresented here on the BestBuy site. If you look up the model number on Asus' site, you get taken here: https://store.asus.com/us/item/202006AM130000003/. This laptop comes with the i7, 8GB RAM and a 512GB SSD, as you mentioned. I actually almost bought this laptop thinking I was getting a stellar deal- so glad I checked the model number. Hopefully this "answer" saves some other people some hassle. I'll be sending an email BestBuy's way just to be sure that this issue gets resolved.
Q: Is there an extra slot to add a RAM stick? I would like to add an extra 8 GB of memory.
A: The RAM is not upgradeable, no extra memory slot is available.
Q: can the hard drive be upgraded to 1 tb.
A: Yes, you can go up to 1 TB.
Q: Can you connect it to a cell phone plan?
A: Only if it has a SIM card spot. I didn’t see one and their website doesn’t talk about one at all. It has a micro sd slot for storage expansion but not a SIM card spot.
