A: Does your router Have 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz wireless?. You might have 5GHz only. The older router probably use 2.4 and the new one now has 5GHZ by default. You can turn both 2.4 and 5 GHz channels in the routers setting via you're web browser usually accessed by typing 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.1.1 in you're web browser
