    Turntable upgrade

After a lot of research purchased this turntable. Upgraded the stylist to a Ortofon Blue per my research. Performs very well. The availability of turntables was to deliver!

    Best turntable price/quality in 2020 .

Amazing sound and quality that really surprised me when I play some old records. Definitely the closest resemblance turntable of the most famous of All.

Very Impressed. Better than my vintage Technics.

I love it. I had been using a vintage Technics 1500 fr years, but it kept on needing servicing. This AT140 has very low noise. Zero hum. I bought it and expected to change the stylus and cartridge. I will still replace them eventually, but they're fine for now. Very sold construction. Very beautiful. I was nervous purchasing it due to the issues with the AT120 model, but it seems like they figured it all out before releasing this model. Buy it.

    Great turntable!

Great turntable for the price! Just as good as more expensive turntables.

Great mid lvl Direct Drv tbl if you upgrade Stylus

This a great mid level direct drive turntable. I am not using it for DJing just for home listening. I had technics direct dirve tables growing up so I just wanted a direct drive table. This model fixes all of the issues that the 120 model has. This model has adjustable feet, dampened platter and no premap = no hum like the 120 model. I also have had no speed issues like the lower priced 120 model and the crosley C200 model. I have this turntable fitted with a $149.00 Audio Technica Red Microline stylus and it really sounds nice. I am using a ART DJ Premap with no issues. Please understand that many direct drive turntables are made by Hanpin under different brands.

Questions & Answers
  • My Audio -Technica Stereo turn table is new but after quarantie .Can I some how upgraded it to auto return ? this is so painful having full manual .Got it as a present .That is why. Please help

This is not possible. Consider one of our 60 Series or the AT-LP3 Turntable instead. These are fully automatic type turntables versus the fully manual type that you have now. Their fidelity and speed stability will not be as good as the AT-LP140XP that you have now however. They are also belt drive 2-speed, not direct-drive 3-speed type turntables.

  • Will it play 45, 33 & 78s.?

The AT-LP140XP Turntable features all 3 speeds, but requires a 78 rpm stylus for playing 78 rpm records. You may replace the provided stylus with the AT-VMN95SP Stylus when you want to play 78 rpm records.

  • I think my question may not have been clear enough. Is this turntable a better sounding turntable than the current AT 120XUSB? Thanks.

Not when using the provided (AT-XP3) DJ Cartridge, no. If you were to change the stylus out to the same (AT-VMN95E) stylus that comes on the AT-LP120X-USB Turntable, it would be hard to tell them apart however. The LP120X-USB may be a bit more quiet due to the use of an external power supply, but it will not have the torque of the LP140XP. For DJ use, only the 140XP should be used.

  • can this stereo be synced blue tooth with Sonos one speakers

No, it cannot. The SONOS One speakers use Wi-Fi to stream audio, The Bluetooth feature on this speaker is used temporarily to communicate with your phone/tablet to simplify the first-time setup process, it does not support audio streaming.

  • We use a full SONOS Sound system, how can we connect this player to hear over our sound system? It is a present for my husband and want to purchase any connecting cables if possible so can use on Christmas Day.

The AT-LP140XP Turntable DOES NOT have a built in phono preamplifier/equalizer so you will need to add one between the turntable and the Sonos system. Connect the turntable to the input of the phono preamplifier, and the output of the phono preamplifier to the Analog Audio (Line In) jacks on the Sonos.
