We would like to inform you that Crucial - T705 2 TB Solid State Drive - M.2 2280 Internal - PCI Express NVMe (PCI Express NVMe 5.0 x4) - Desktop PC CT2000T705SSD5 is also available without heatsink: https://www.crucial.com/ssd/t705/ct2000t705ssd3 However, please note that the T705 produces high amounts of heat under heavy workloads, and non-heatsink versions of the Crucial T705 must be installed with a motherboard or alternate heatsink to achieve optimal performance. This is called out on T705 product pages. This also affects the drive's compatibility with laptops, as most laptops will not have an appropriate cooling solution in place and the version with integrated heat sink will not fit in standard laptop systems, so we do not list the T705 as compatible with laptop models.
