The IXS12.4S is a 12" car subwoofer from the DS18 IXS series. It handles 800 watts RMS and uses a single voice coil at 4 ohms per coil, which keeps wiring simple with most monoblock amplifiers. Peak power handling is 1600 watts. The cone is fiber glass. The shallow-mount basket fits tight spaces and under-seat enclosures where a standard-depth subwoofer will not clear. Mounting requires a 10.79" cutout diameter and 4.33" of mounting depth, so confirm your enclosure before installing. Pair it with a matching monoblock amplifier and a properly tuned enclosure to get the most low-frequency output.
