Q: Can this be used on a carpet and how hot does the steam get? Thanks.
A: Hi, great question! You can refresh and deodorize small carpets and area rugs, but our steam cleaners are not large surface carpet cleaners or wall-to-wall extractors. They work better as spot cleaners, stain removers and area refreshers. The water inside the unit heats up to 275°F/ 135°C. However, depending on the accessories used and the air temperature, the temperature of the actual steam out put can be 40-75F/ 5- 25 C lower.
